South Carolina Group to Continue Statewide Service Dr. Ronda Stevens Named Wright Directions Family Services CEO

SHREVEPORT, LA:  Dr. Ronda Stevens has been named Chief Executive Officer for Wright Directions Family Services, a South Carolina based organization providing counseling, medical and skill building services to youth and families. CEO and co-founder of Seaside Healthcare, Franklin Roemer, made the announcement of  Stevens appointment. Seaside Healthcare, parent company of Wright Directions, is a Louisiana headquartered behavioral health corporation serving communities across Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Texas. Wright Directions has served the people of South Carolina since 2011.

Dr. Stevens has been with Wright Directions Family Services (WDFS) since 2015, having served in several leadership positions during her service. She has a Bachelor’s in Sociology, a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and a Doctoral Degree in Psychology. She is certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and child and adolescent level of care utilization system assessment (CALOCUS). Dr. Stevens has more than a decade of experience in behavioral health service rendering and program management.

Stevens is also a combat veteran who proudly served her country after 9/11. She served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electrician on the F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets. Roemer commented on Dr. Steven’s role with Wright Directions, “Her extensive education, years of experience, and her strong military background gives Dr. Stevens a strong set of management and treatment skills that will fit well with the mission and goals of both Wright Directions and Seaside Healthcare. We welcome her into this important leadership position.”

Wright Directions Family Services currently serves South Carolina communities through a network of four operating clinics located in the cities of Hampton, Bennettsville, North Myrtle Beach, and Ridgeland. Among their broad range of services are mental health assessment and diagnostic evaluations, case management, counseling, crisis intervention services, behavior modification services, family support programs, psycho-social rehabilitation, school based services, summer camp programs, and a variety of community based services for at-risk children and families.

Wright Directions also works with other community individuals, agencies, and organizations in their work to enhance the quality of life for the people they serve. Wright Directions is accredited by CARF, (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
