urning Point Family Services was established in 2002 to provide nurturing, loving, therapeutic treatment homes for children. Since then, the program has grown to fit the needs of the community and Turning Point Family Services now provides a variety of mental health services designed for children, families, and adults. Our programs are person-centered and strive to meet the needs of the people we serve in structured community-based settings. We believe an individualized approach better serves children, adolescents, and adults, creating an environment that is more conducive to successful treatment. Our programs and services are provided in a manner so that everyone’s strengths are identified and built upon to improve self-esteem, help promote healthy community relationships and promote recovery.

Turning Point Family Services unique specialty is foster care services. Turning Point is located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina with offices in Charlotte, Concord, and Mooresville. The area is filled with many exciting attractions that are sure to entertain, whatever your interests may be. Charlotte, the Queen City, is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. It has an abundance of local culture that ranges from sporting events at the Spectrum Center or Bank of America Stadium to soaking up the local fare at NODA art district. The Whitewater Aquatics Center features a host of water sports and outdoor activities.

North of Charlotte are the towns of Concord, with many options for shopping, concerts, motorsports, and Kannapolis, offering a strong research campus, a performance center for athletics, and a downtown social district right across the road from the ballpark. Just a short 30 minute drive up interstate 77 brings you to Lake Norman/Mooresville which has a small city vibe and offers a great opportunity to hang out on the beautiful lakeshores during the day while visiting the growing nightlife in downtown Mooresville in the evening. All our offices are centrally located and are within day or weekend trips of the Atlantic Ocean and the Blue Ridge Parkway, offering even more beautiful North Carolina landscapes for you to explore!
