Seaside Healthcare’s network of mental health facilities across the state of Louisiana offers the best in behavioral healthcare and treatment services. We employ experienced doctors and medical professionals who focus on providing outcome-based service through the use of evidence-based practices. These practices, along with the Seaside Treatment System approach to care, ensure patients achieve their treatment goals while receiving the dignity and respect they deserve.
Seaside’s growing number of health facilities allows us to apply our Continuum of Care model of treatment and accommodate patients seeking behavioral healthcare services regardless of what their challenges may be. This means patients will receive a high-level of treatment at the most appropriate level of care in the most cost effective manner possible.
From acute hospitalization to home- and community-based services, Seaside is able to provide treatment levels and modalities that best fit each individual patient’s circumstances.
According to the National Institute for Mental Health, about 1 in every 20 Americans suffers from some sort of severe mental illness—making mental disorders the leading cause of disability across the United States. Suicide takes the lives of over 38,000 people each year and is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. for all ages.
Seaside is working to address this problem by offering acute care facilities in Louisiana capable of treating patients requiring hospital care for crisis stabilization. Our inpatient treatment programs are designed to help patients manage their illness through the use of evidence-based practices.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Our partial hospitalization programs involve group therapy for 4 to 6 hours a day, 5 to 7 days a week. This allows us to provide a more intensive level of care to the patient who might not require acute hospitalization.
Intensive Outpatient Care (IOP)
Seaside also provides intensive outpatient care programs. These programs aren’t as demanding as PHP and allow the patient more flexibility by helping them achieve their treatment goals by attending group therapy 1 to 3 days a week.
Home- and Community-Based Services
Seaside’s Home- and Community-Based Service (HCBS) Division is committed to helping people with behavioral and mental health needs develop basic social and life skills to remain vibrant and successful in their home and community. Our team of caring professionals works with the client and their supporters to develop and use resources to achieve their fullest potential. We expect great outcomes, and we strive to deliver them to the community.
